Went to Arnhem with TommyCee and Ramón and Ernest the guitar. I traded in Ernest and bought a new guitar. It will henceforth be known as Billy. It’s a nice Stagg Stratocaster, black and white just like Ernie. I’ve siad goodbye to Ernie, he was a nice 45 euro’s worth of trade-in. Billy cost me 175 euro’s. Minus the 45 that made 130 euro’s. So I still have money left to repay my stepmom and eat for the upcoming week.

Another thing, I was browsing through Spreuken (is that Preachers in the Bible?). Spreuken 31: 10-31 is about the decent housewife. In which it tells us about how a women who wants to have a piece of land, she will get it
“Zint zij op een akker, dan verwerft zij dien”
I still have to read the rest of it, though. Does anyone know where in the bible it says that women should not wear a man’s clothing? In Spreuken it says “strength and luister are her garments” lol. Nothing about long skirts there, I think.

I cooked one hell of a macaroni. That was so awsome, I am really proud of my cooking skills sometimes.
And I’m really looking forward to my birthdayparty.

That’s it for now.

Well, that section is called Proverbs in English. However, it is attributed to King Solomon, the son of David, and Ecclesiastes is also attributed to a son of David called either the Teacher or the Preacher depending upon how you translate it ("The words of the Teacher/Preacher, a son of David, king in Jerusalem" (Eccl 1:1) in the version I have before me, the New Oxford Annotated Bible), it could very well be called Preacher or some such in some versions.

And in my version the line about garments is "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the times to come" (Prov 31:25). Oh, and earlier in chapter 31 it does in fact say stuff about the good wife wearing clothes other than metaphorically. *smile*

And the stuff about not wearing men's clothing is almost certainly in Leviticus and/or Deuteronomy, the main books of laws. Both are books in the Torah (the first five books - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, called the Pentateuch, in English by Christians, meaning something like 'five books' in Latin), the only part of the Bible that is actually really canonized and considered holy by Jews. The rest are just useful holy scriptures, but not necessarily God inspire to them.

I'll try to find it, where the thing about women not wearing men's clothing is. I remember reading about it in the new testament, a letter from Paulus, but it could be it's also in the old testament, I'm reading that also. *grins* get's confusing sometimes, where did I read what? Makes it difficult to look things back.
