janestarzThe Winston was cool. It is in the very red heart of Amsterdam, it’s doors well-bouncered. When TC and I entered Retarded already was playing. Apparantly, it had started earlier than we thought, and we missed Wiseguy. But Retarded ROCKED BIGASS! Then the Apers came on stage. It’s always nice to see them again. They played a lot of songs of their new album (which I don’t know yet because I don’t have it) but TC and I bounced our heads, shook our asses and enjoyed the music. Yeah.
I saw my former crush again, Joe C. from Wiseguy. A year ago I was so much more naive or something. He’s still cute and all, and he even remembered TC. She’s so loved.
We danced with weird boys who asked to have their butts kicked because of their behaviour. I just want to point out that I’m not a violent person except when it comes to people who are drunk and or stoned who touch you on purpose. Yeah.
TC and I walked to the Korsakoff. It had a bit of a “raw” look with iron doors and lots of metal stairs. The crowd varied immensely. There were the slipksnotters, metalheads, R&B’ers, dreadboys, gothgirls, and everything in between. The music varied as much as the crwod and no matter what music it was, everybody danced! Yeah.
We quickwalked back to CS where we were way in time for the 03.10 nightbus to Hoorn. We slept at 04.35 or so. And thismorning afternoon I will travel back home. I bought sunglasses in Amsterdam, my train is now approaching Utrecht, and I’m wearing my Retarded Tee. “Back to lose”. Yeah.
