Darned consumer society. Blasted fashion ideals. I guess all stores and factories believe that women who have size 42 in shoes all have size 32 in legs. I tried on some nice boots but though the shoe was good, the part around my legs didn't fit by a long shot. *grumble* It pisses me off.

So, I figured out my train schedule for tomorrow. I'll catch the 08.05 train to Utrecht, then switch to Rotterdam, then switch to Antwerpen Berchem. I'll arrive at Antwerpen Berchem at 10.29 and leave again at 10.42. So, [livejournal.com profile] jenallah we could meet up for coffee but it would have to be a quick one.
I'm on icq if you want to discuss it.

Euhm...what else. I broke my two pair of black boots this weekend and bought new very ugly but comfy flat working shoes. And fabric for the Shivers tunics. Fucking expensive but well...I make he pays. I hope.
I'm bored, need to get to work. More coffee. *waves* Bye-ee!

Oh, and livejournal is giving me shivers. Everything has to load twice before it works. Graaah!

Also (damn in one of those moods again) I thought I might as well save a bit more and spend it on a new guitar.

I'm fucking nervous.. Stupid, huh? Always am like this at first meetings. It's quite irritating. But I hope it'll be gone by tomorrow. I'll order coffee at 10.29, so you can drink it when you arrive. They usually arrive on time, but I'll check the arrival times at Berchem tomorrow. Do you want a "koffiekoek" too? With chocolate or something else? If I remember correctly there's a PANOS there. The "broodjesshop" thingy. I'll check it out tomorrow.

:)

You should see about getting the boots stretched if you want them. (I'm assuming they're leather?) I bought a pair of boots back in November. There was no way I getting them zipped up though. But, the store sent them away to get them stretched for me so that I could fit them over my calves. If you still want a pair of boots like that, ask the store about getting them stretched...there is hope for us girls with non size 32 calves!!!

That's a thought...

I've been thinking about just buying boots without zippers but only shoelaces, like Doc Martens (which do not go with Goth attire) or even something from the fetish/goth shop I know. But I still need to find the time to seek out the stores in Rotterdam. I've been so busy.

If all else fails I can still take the inner boot from my skeelers and wear those to a larp.

Wait, are you saying you broke two pairs of boots, for a total of four boots?

I had two pairs of boots. One pair as my working boots, the other as my off-time boots. I particularly loved those, they looked like army-boots but were more comfy.

I broke the zipper from my fav pair on wednesday. Then after work on Sunday, the zipper from the other pair (my work boots) broke as well. I was glad it happened after work, because I need to wear 'decent black shoes' and those were my last walkable decent black shoes.

I bought a new pair of work shoes, very neat ones, very decent. No zipper, no laces. Now to get used to them...*smile*
