My boss just called. Emile has fallen ill and whether or not I could fill in. I was in dubio. I’m not really in a mood to see Ramón (which is terrible of me) mr. I’m-Going-To-Make-It-In-This-World-But-How-Are-You. Well, Ramón is going to make it in this world but he never stopped caring about me. (Because we all know I sure as hell won’t make it in this world). Strange. We’re good friends and all but it’s gotta be the hormones.

So I’m going to work tonight. The money is really a big issue. Last month I worked only for one weekend and I had to lend some money from my I’m-Saving-For-My-New-Larp-Sword piggybank. I have already borrowed 40 euro’s from it but the Stufi (Student Financing) is in now, hopefully. I am very glad I already payed for Formanterra, Lord of the Rings Larp, and the Fantasy Fair. As soon as I made the tunics for Shiverz I will have payed for my Shiverz entrance ticket as well and then all that remains is Moonblade and perhaps Shadowrifts.
If I don’t win that competition.

Last night at work I was ‘vliegende keep’. No that’s not a flying fortress or something but it means that you get to fill up the buffet and help out wherever help is needed. I made more icecreams than ever, and helped Miel clear out six tables.
When I was scrubbing tables I remembered what I felt like the first day of work. It was a Saturday and it was midnight or something when we started scrubbing the first tables. I had worked since six pm, and was already dead tired. When I heard all the tables still had to be scrubbed and set for the next morning, I was desperate.
But I seem to have adapted. My feet and back hurt less now, after a long night of carrying drinks around. It’s becomen routine, meaning I can think about other stuff while I make drinks or scrub barbecues.
A girl (12) talking to us over the bar called Sander “donothing”. “En die doeniets daar, heeft hij een vriendin?” (And the donothing over there, does he have a girlfriend?). *wide grin*

We also barbecued for the last time. The test-meat is all gone. The supermarkets had to decide what kind of meat they would buy for the new barbecue season and one of the suppliers had called Erik to ask whether they could use his barbecues. There were a lot of left-overs and I now know exactly where to buy my speklapjes. *Grin*

I had a terrible dream last night and it still lingered when I woke up. “Waarom bent ge niet hierheen gekomen om me te zien?” (Why didn’t you come over here to see me?), but the e-mail I read during coffee made up for that still lingering feeling.

I’m almost done typing about Tis! I still have to do the initiation ceremony, and I asked Monique (Salyana) and Ruud (Athar) to help me with it, but I guess I’ll start typing already. I can still adjust it later.
