Going out with a bang!
Jan. 2nd, 2018 12:51 pmEmphebion was awesome and I will have to spend some good hours typing happily away to write down the story. I gotta!
I've been awfully remiss but then Zafira / Zaphira did not really have a voice in game. She now can speak and has surprised many.
I also blame my friends, who write the story at Emphebion and are GM, for EVERYTHING. You! Youuuu! *shakes fist*
There were a lot of people under the weather at the event and I brought home con-crud. My 2017 ended with vomiting and diarrhoea, but at least the vomiting was only once. I woke up two minutes past midnight, kissed Eisirt on his hair, and spent most of the night being annoyed by our anti-social downstairs neighbours two houses over. They were the last ones to set off fireworks in our entire neighbourhood (2:30 in the morning), and when the father told the teens to go to bed they just ignored him and kept going. And then a bit later some guys drove up on scooters and were on the phone quite loudly on how "that f$% from Sonderwick hit you! WHO! What's his name! I'll come over. What's his name!"
Ugh.
Although I haven't been outside in a few days, I am willing to bet the rest of the neighbourhood has swept all the streets, except their bit. Because that's how adult we are all treating each-other.
I've been snuggled up on a far-too-small-for-comfort loveseat with my tall body. The fact that I'm already planning to see if we can fix that means I'm feeling better. Just not quite there yet. So here's to a healthy, drama-free and creative 2018!
