Ye Gods, how long does it take for a sweater to dry?
I soaked the thing before going to work and laid it flat on the bed on some towels, stretching the hem to 70 cm (flat) and the cowl to 37 cm so they're both wide enough. When we got home from Ikea last night the sweater was still not dry and the bed was wet. Ugh.
I put the sweater in the bathroom for the night, spreading as much as I could on the little shelf that goes under the dryer, and it's back on the bed now for the second day. The wet towels are in the washing machine. Let's hope the second day is the charm!

Next time I'm visiting a Local Yarn Store I'm using some birthday money for an extra set of blocking mats. One set is just not cutting it for the larger projects anymore, and with autumn on our doorstep I don't want clammy sheets.

Next up: re-knitting the second sock of the Dropping Madness socks for Irma (currently at the gusset), finishing the Hubband Sock and of course Zaphira's warm shawl for Emphebion while I figure out what my next big project will be.
