Toss & Turn
Jun. 18th, 2017 08:44 amThree nights! Three nights I've been tossing and turning over this FeelGood Market.
First when we were making the bags. I didn't finish as much as I'd hoped, and I wondered if I would have enough stock.
Then I was pondering whether I could make things fast enough, so they would sell for a normal price. And whether I had made enough.
And now again, because today is the market and I've been sewing linings for totes in my sleep all night. I even told myself how stupid I was being, seeing how I finished everything on Friday, packed it up as I went along, attached price tags and everything!
I bet this happened before our first Fantasy Fair in 2004. But I don't recall it happening after that.
This probably is due to various factors. I don't know where I would keep my money unless I wore pants, so no wearing my new summer skirt. I didn't bring everything and I'm afraid people might want stuff I don't have (which is ridiculous, because how would they know?). And I don't know the Market, so I don't know the public, so I can't for the life of me decide how well-received my things will be.
Everything about the market on Facebook feels great. Music, dancing, drinks, fun things to do for kids and a lot of handmade products. I just hope it'll blow me away!
