Sock Madness -- round one completed.
Mar. 14th, 2017 05:56 pmThis morning I sent in my "finished" mail with links, and an hour or two later I got the liberating answer. This pair of socks has qualified me for the next round of Sock Madness!

The first sock took the longest, having to redo the gusset several times. The second sock was cast on on Saturday afternoon. I was almost done with the gusset by Sunday night and did the heel turn on Monday morning before school. I pushed through on Monday evening, knitting until midnight (with a break), and finished the toe this morning.
Taking pictures, updating the Ravelry project page and then sending the required e-mail was the final thing to do.
I've got at least two days off, as I finished this round a bit earlier than the absolute deadline. There's no telling when the next sock pattern will be availalbe, but it's nice to have a bit of recuperation time after the mad dash of the first round.
