Very nearly finished
Jun. 3rd, 2016 11:55 pmThe blazer is very nearly finished, which means I can hand in the blazer in our last lesson before the exams. I've even got some time to peruse some of the theoretical stuff and come up with some questions. We might even get around to taking a few pictures before I hand it in.
To do (sewing):
Attach lining to sleeves;
Secure lining to hem;
Buttons and buttonholes;
A final press;
Getting the paperwork / cutting list / fabric samples ready to hand in;
Hemming the jeans.
To do (theoretical):
Check basic blocks if I have all the blocks I might need for the pattern drafting exam;
Draft the blazer block with smaller dart and the two-piece sleeve so José can check them;
Fill out paperwork and sign up for next year's course;
Sort through my folders and file everything properly;
Write down questions I might have;
To do (household):
Grab some groceries. We need milk, banana's and some minor vegetables (Eisirt works most nights and I'm not much in the mood to cook, so freezer-leftovers suffice, but sometimes you just want to munch on tasty tiny tomatoes).
Buy stamps and send swapped yarn out to Paarsetulp.
Clear away fabrics and patterns and make the livingroom somewhat presentable. (Could do this on Sunday)
And that's my weekend planned!
