Dress diary: Socks done!
Feb. 6th, 2016 09:09 amSee Jane Knit. See Jane go through all these project at a lightning fast pace! Go Jane, go knit!

The second sock of the Aragorns is done!
And yes, it looks like the toe section on the left sock is a bit shorter. And you know what? I can't feel the difference in length and I'm not going to frog anything. It's fine the way it is.
What I've learned from this project:
- Twisted rib is really pretty, but knitting twisted stitches into cables makes for wee tiny work. (Priegelen!)
- If your socks are too small, really do frog. You will not wear them if they are not comfortable.
- Cotton home-knit socks are just as pretty as wool ones. I will have to wear them to see how they compare in comfort.
- I won't be choosing another twisted cabled or twisted stitches sock project any time soon.
Next up:
I really don't know. I hardly knitted a thing last night. I wanted to work on Steelweaver's commission but my gauge swatch is all wrong and I need a different size needle.
I'm so glad these are out of the way!
