Kitchen: successfully vandalised
Jan. 11th, 2014 10:36 pmI vandalised a kitchen tonight, and all was well with the world.
Nachtvisser spent a good hour or two ripping water lines from the wall. Considering this was the better-looking bathroom of the two apartments (next door to each other) I saw, I was still scandalised with the state of things once we started de-construction.
All water has been shut down in the apartment, but I had the presence of mind to set up the coffee maker for tomorrow morning. The pipes in bathroom and kitchen have been all but deconstructed. Tomorrow we draw on the wall where the grooves will need to be cut and then it's the big break-down. The cabinets can be moved downstairs to the basement, and we can sand the remains of wallpaper off the livingroom walls. I have found my dream wallpaper at the dietitian's office, so I will be checking out her supplier on monday.
The dust is already killing me. Urgh. Now shower-time, and then off to sleep.
