All my MoSCoW-rated clothes are done! My new "tight-as-a-pair-of-hosen" "Really-these-are-IT"-skinny jeans (with elvish embroidery) will only need a hem and then it's all done!
Estolador was here at one o'clock and we've just had some fries. I asked him his opinion about my costume, and he declared he misses layers. I can still frantically scrabble to assemble the velvet overcoat I had semi-planned but was realistic enough about to not even attempt, but I feel it's good to pause and relax.
I've completely fallen out of love with my greaves, so I might not even attempt to finish them at Drachenfest, instead opting to make a good pair from vegetable tanned leather instead, matching my helmet, and throw in a pair of bracers and a new kidney belt too. Leave some work for the rest of the year.
Next up is putting things in the car, so we'll get some space up here again, and tomorrow morning bright & early we'll be off to Diemelstadt, Germany, for the Event of the Year!
