Hosen

Everyone is aflutter with the Limbricht Brothers festival here at the Open Air Museum and this is why I was told to get to work on some hosen. I'm finally getting some time on this ancient Pfaff, which has a model number with only three digits. It's probably an antique and it can sure use a good piece of maintenance.

Hosen were actually something I wanted to try my hand at at home, but after staring at four different patterns I freaked at the mere math concerned to make my hips fit. (It's not at all weird I have four different patterns for a pair of medieval stockings, is it?)
But now I have the sole figured out, I'm sure I can manage.

The sole in this picture is not one I made, mine are not nearly this neat yet. It's the example pair I'm stealing the pattern from.
Too bad this is not my atelier, I can't find any sewing supplies but I'd rather leave Janeth downstairs...
