Productive day
Jun. 24th, 2012 11:09 pmTalk about three larps in a day!
We had a full house, with the entire Van Leij clan and Nathreee and her husband coming over to discuss Badger's Business things. After a few initial points, they set to work on invitation lists (who do we want to invite for the first round of sign-ups?), mail addresses, invitation e-mail (how do we invite them politely?) and of course changing the website. The munchies I had provided were soon evaporated, and I found myself raiding the pantry for more food.
I supplied some pictures for the website and subsequently busied myself with the catering of said people, which went well. Around six, Remco, the youngest Van Leij and myself picked up some fries at the nearby cafeteria to cater some more.
Of course the talk turned to Maerquin, which I am very much looking forward to.
By the time everyone had left, I was pretty worn out and I opted to sit behind my pc in peace for a while, and I found Finn online and willing to skype, so I immersed myself in Drachenfest talk. Many fun plans -- how is it that we always hit it off so well? -- and I was swimming the third setting for the day. Phew!
Now it's eleven pm, near my bedtime, and I can honestly say it was a productive day. Invitations for Badger's were sent, the website is completely updated and we've set dates for the next meetings. For now, only the old players are able to sign up but in two weeks the last open spots will be free-for-all.
However, I didn't get around to writing my little IC blurb for Maerquin I wanted to write, I didn't get around to the IT-information I wanted to summarise in my own words, and I am now completely hyped for Drachenfest, while Maerquin is just around the corner. Poo.
