Yesterday evening Nachtvisser joined us in Tilburg and after a very tasty meal at Kostas' grill we set out to prepare the livingroom for the new floor.

NoKey's been living there for most days of the week, and this resulted in a lot of clothes, papers, dishes and klus equipment lying around everywhere. Luckily we had a vacuum cleaner and a patient trash bin and we could tape the golden underflooring (for reducing noise and extra isolation) pretty soon.

By the time we stopped working around half an hour to midnight we'd made a pretty decent start on the floor and we celebrated with a drop of whisky and some cheer. At eight am this morning we resumed consciousness and work on the floor. By the time Nachtvisser had to leave at three pm most of the floor was done, but there were some tricky corners to be done near the kitchen.

We finished the floor and then called it a day, leaving for Rotterdam. Priorities are now shifting again. Canceling our apartment needs to be done online (stupid policy) and it's more important than finishing off the edges of the floor and moving stuff around before the move. I can do cleaning and moving stuff around in the house on my own, NoKey needs to take care of the administrative things which he would otherwise not get around to. I'll probably spend some time there on Tuesday making sure the movers have sufficient access and stuff is clean.

To be done before Thursday (the Tilburg list)
- Plinths in livingroom and kitchen.
- Clear away plastic and cardboard wrappings, although I could live with it just being dumped in the shed for now.
- Move isolation glasswool from the attic to the shed.
- Move staves and bows from the pre-attic into the attic room
- Cat-proof the attic room so they can be locked in there safely and not piss on everything
- Re-assemble electrical outlets in main bedroom
- Move boxes from main bedroom to attic
- Remove airbed from second bedroom
- Put all clothes now strewn about second bedroom into large cupboard
- Move all painting supplies to the pantry or the shed
- Clear away all trash, sort through klus supplies strewn about kitchen
- Clean kitchen
- Vacuum the entire house
- Appease the house ghost
- Re-assemble coat rack and put it up in the hallway again.
- Assemble bookcases, although I can live with not having them assembled until after the move. In that case, I should move them to a place where they're not going to be in the way (the pantry?)

T-minus 5 days!
