School strategy
Sep. 6th, 2011 10:06 amRecently I've had a lot of trouble mustering the energy to go to school. Once I get home, I'm more tempted to stay there and skip school -- which is crazy because I really love the lessons and the people. School gives me energy, but coming home from work often provides an invisible threshold I have trouble crossing.
So yesterday I packed up my folders (two big folders, by now) and didn't go home after work. I stayed here until six, and then went to school in one go.
Everyone was happy to see me again and we worked on the one collar I'd been working on in the train that morning (oh happy coincidence!) and munched chocolate.
We should actually have a month's holiday in September, but everyone is so excited to keep learning that the lessons just continue. Hanny is happy to oblige us. =)
For the coming weeks I'd like to try and catch up on the homework, do the lessons I missed at home and just hand in the extra homework. Let's see how that goes.
Colleague Esther hit the spot when she said: "If I were you, there'd be nothing that could stop me from attending school".
Ooh, that reminds me, I should e-mail her.
