Nearing March
Feb. 10th, 2011 10:21 amLots of people get a winter dip around November when the longer nights are approaching but that's when I find myself at the butt of the larp season, still having something to look forward to. My winter dip approaches around Feb/Mar/Apr when Larp season is just getting started. There's too many costumes to make, too many things to do and not enough time or sunshine to go around.
I might not even get around to making Beriadanwen a new costume at all. I still have over 6 weeks to work on it, but there's things to finish, so I'll focus on that first.
I'd like to finish my mother's quilt so I can drop it off to be stitched, I'm working on Lanelle's wrap and Ank's cloak and then there's a the summer coat which really needs finishing before April gets here.
Lots of Anarquendor sewing coming up too.
But I'm allocating time for homework and exercise and cooking healthy stuff for myself. Some sewing projects will suffer, and I'd rather let sewing suffer than my health.
Oh well, we'll see where we'll get. I'd just like the winter to be over now, thank you. Let the sun return to us. Ooga-booga toot sweet!
