Back in action
May. 21st, 2009 11:01 pmAfter a year, if not more, of radio silence, we finally got our party back together for a good day of Dungeons and Dragons!
Of course, it being a national holiday today, we took our sweet time playing. Keffie and Leona arrived after lunch and we played until 6 pm. Then I baked us all pancakes and we watched the Gamers, and played some more.
I realise I am now two years behind on my writings...
Meanwhile...I'm actually typing this on Ithron, my laptop, as my Desktop PC (pumilius_rufus) is backing up my /home into a tape archive and copying this to an external harddisk. As it's not a USB 2.0 and the file is more than 10 gigs large, it's been copying for a while. Let's hope tomorrow everything is backed up and we can upgrade to 9.04.
I made /home a seperate partition, but that doesn't mean it can't go wrong. Better to be safe than sorry!
