RH stuff (ooh, I love that topic!)
Jan. 30th, 2008 10:57 amLadies and Gentlemen, the Reconstructing History shipment arrived yesterday! It was a huge box that the postman lugged all the way up the three flights of stairs for us to the fourth floor. Luckily, the bulk of the package was the Cerulean wool for
steelweaver, who is very welcome to come pick it up, and the Navy and Natural white wool for NoKey's historic archer outfit.
I will be putting together your orders, weighing the parcels and send out e-mails with accurate shipping and handling charges to you all tonight!
This means that I now have historically accurate boning material for my 17th century stays, i.e. reed. This means I have to get my butt in gear to actually construct it and to make that pattern work for me.
And I also have to get started on a pattern for that historical Welsh archer outfit for NoKey. I really need to update my worklist soon. I got some things off it (Luna coat, Leona's elf outfit) and some new things have to be added to it (Nieske's formal clothes, Noordewind gambeson for Keffie).
Hmm...I have a nice thought. Let's bother NoKey with it!
