I declare it weekend.
Feb. 11th, 2005 03:50 pmI'm not really in the mood for anything right now. For some strange reason my RSI decided to play up, my right elbow is stinging a bit.
All in all I'm quite satisfied with the work I did today. I'd been work-avoiding on that blue cloak, and I finished it quite fast. Also made another green wool tunic, this time with yellow-pink-black-green trimming on the sleeve. Quite pretty, like the others. Still need to hem 5 tunics though...
Dusty peed in the hall today, and I dragged her face through it, in the hope she'll never ever considering peeing in the hall again ever even if she was nigh exploding with pee. *glare*
The Young Ones make me happy.
*sings along: "....'fies my soouulll...." *
So, in any case, last night my second session of D&D with JW's group. I made his two kitties immensely happy by taking aloung about twenty empty thread-spools. These had to be chased down, played with, carried around, and murderized, of course.
Best bit about yesterdays session was the bargainskills of Cona the barbarian. We were buying a mule for our supplies (we let the halfling buy provisions, he ended up with having about 10 kg of salted ham and I don't know how much bread). The seller suggested 14 gold. "Four!" said Cona. The seller then dropped his price a bit. "Eleven." Cona thought for a while. "Three!"
Another wonderful bit was when my character fainted at the sight of blood gushing from someone's jugular, and the human ranger Lorien, whom I call sunshine since he is so fucking annoying and ignores me most of the time, catched me. He was startled, to say the least.
Still need to put Mariel on my website...
