Is it a kind of dream, floating out on the tide?

The last few days have been a bit dreamlike. I must admit, I reveled in it. The radio calls it "de trage dagen voor kerst" (the slow days before christmas), and I've been wrapped in them, it seems. Saturday we went to the market, we did groceries on Sunday, and Tuesdaynight NoKey suddenly came down with something remotely flu-ish. It was fun burying him beneath two cloaks, my old sets of blankets, and a shower of kisses. He was burning up and being cold at the same time.

Today Janou came over for another sewing, and I must say we get good at sewing and talking at the same time. We exchanged gossip, while she worked on her french seams on the shmock, I busied myself with my 1880s pattern. I had just enough fabric too. Lucky me.
We also set a date for next sewing session, wednesday the 29th. I hope sjuuls will be able to make it this time.

I've an underdefined feeling bubbling underneath my semi-sleepy exterior. Something's brewing. Might come out in due time.
I'm not much looking forward to friday. Dinner at dad's always seems a bit ... forced fun. No real good news from my side, grandma will be enjoying my dress, I think, but my dad and Detti might not. Jos...is a hick when it comes to social skills.
I guess I just need a good cuddling. That, or I'm coming down with something as well.
