Dec. 1st, 2004 11:36 amSooo after a productive day yesterday, Mom and Luc came over to go out to eat. Mom brought a bouquet of flowers which smell very sweet and very strong, and before she had her coat off Luc rang the bell. (Mom came from her work and Luc from home). I put the flowers in a vase, and made them tea. Then Nokey came home and we went to the Chineze restaurant which thrives on pick-up food.
We had fun talking about larp, lockmachines, things that happened and ofcourse ridiculing my brother's birthday. They actually were invited! Or rather, Luc called Jos to ask whether it was still on 'tonight' and Jos replied "...uh...yeah sure". After all, last year when he didn't celebrate his birthday, mom and Luc picked up crisps, nuts, sodas, coffee, coffeemilk, sugar, cookies, and cake so he wouldn't have an excuse not to celebrate, since they would bring everything he needed to celebrate his birthday. Bummer for him, this year they didn't. Ofcourse they were the only ones on his birthday. Jos had said something about wanting to celebrate it, and that I would get an invitation but nothing came.
We made fun of Ignis and dad too. Ignis couldn't get the netiquette into her head which resulted into two rants of NoKey in which he explained why she should "BCC" everyone, instead of putting every fucking person she knew into the "to" list. But she didn't listen and now can not reach us any more. This is also because she still calls my mobile phone which is permanently switched off because I'm at home 90% of the time. Nobody has any cause to call me on my mobile phone, when they can call my home phone which actually saves them money. But noo....
Mom dared us into going flying with her too, but I really don't like flying that much. Give me a rollercoaster for the Gs and a trip to Madurodam for the view and I'm happy as a lark. (misspelled lark to larp there *grin*). She also said she would invite my father to fly with her once to which I replied I wanted to be there when she asks him. It's not so much the possibility that my mom would let something happen to my dad why this would be fun, but more the apathy my dad has towards mom. He just really doesn't want to see her. I can't help gloating about the prospect of seeing my dad and mom both on my cousin Linda's wedding. I bet he's really going to hate being around mom all day. *squee with glee*
So yeah, we had fun. Dinner was okay. Luc didn't like it much, I believe, and my Tsa Siuw (Cha Shiu) was very salty, but it was VLEESCH! (meatschh or something).
And if NoKey were to pay the bill, mom said, they would buy us a new lockmachine. I don't think Luc was very content about mom saying that, especially since he saw I had my eye on the Pfaff coverlock of 1175 eurii.
We'll see where that leads to.
