Yes Ouch the Toe appeared to be black, purple, blue, green, brown and a vague shade of yellow. It's the middle toe on my right foot that got 100% of the impact, and after the initial swelling went down, I could walk, albeit with a strange limp and not putting any weight on that toe. So this morning I had to call the doc. It was 10.21, I had had a cup of coffee and a shower, and called the doc.
"You can see the doc at 10.40."
"Okay thanks. See you soon."

I still don't know the road there well enough, so NoKey accompanied me. We skipped breakfast and had to go like NOW. So hop on the bike, with my kung-fu shoes because I dare not put on my boots. Heels were very out of the question too. And off we went.

After waiting (doctors are always late), we entered the room, said hi to the doc, and I took of my sock, after explaining what happened. She glanced at it and said it might be broken or badly bruised, but that there would be no cast (phew) or crutches (phew!). I just had to get some clogs or other shoes with inflexible soles and I'd be fine. Practise this and that, and in six weeks I'd be painless again.

So now I'm very sexy, with my clogs, and uhm...well walking works again for me. I can almost walk normally again, only not very fast. No butstraining for a while either, sadly. Or running.
I'm so glad this happened at the end of the larpseason. I will survive the Gothic & Fantasy Fair, probably. If I get a chair.

In other news, Ragar came over yesterday, and it was fun again. We've got great plans for live roleplay and such and well, I won't be spoiling the idea by making it available for others. Uhm, he took along some flyers for the Gothic & Fantasy Fair, and admired Brother Spawn, and LaaLaa Lucky Lock.
The names I give things are so wrong.
