Meat and Blisters

So Sunday we went to my dad's. Though I wasn't much in the mood for going there, it turned out to be quite okay. We barbequed and satisfied my craving for meat. NoKey ate some salmon (just wrap it in tin foil and grill it, with herbs if needed). Dad made a nonsense comment on my hair. "Yes I can see your roots are showing, you need to dye it!" I suspect this was just to be able to comment on something; I last dyed my hair two weeks ago and even I can't find the roots he was looking at. Then again, maybe he's seeing things.

Monday was unexpected and quiet. So need to cut down on Mondays. More Saturdays and less Mondays.

Today, NoKey, Ragar and I went into the city. We strolled from Blaak to Strieder and I figured my shoes would be okay. My feet, alas, weren't. I think I may need to bubblebath them later (in cold water). The weather is 30 degrees or something, but we bought some leather and enjoyed walking and talking (the walking bit less and less every time). Only bought what we really needed though, so that is good.
We ran into a nice sewing machine, second-hand, with several lock-stitches, some fun stitches, for a very nice price. But we can't afford it really. I need to stretch my funds and practice my patience and self-control.
The job search continues.
