The stress for the Fantasy Fair is mounting. When I left for Pasje's place yesterday, I had just finished my soup, and stressed because I'd never make it, even though I only had to wait for 2 minutes for the subway to arrive. So I hurried, and arrived maybe 15 minutes late max, with a beginning headache.
The customer was there, and he had already tried on the pants Pasje had made for him, but they were too small. Let me just tell you this: the guy we made this outfit for is *HUGE*. He's nearing 2 meters tall, and has a waist of 118 centimeters. My thighs are thinner than that! And that's sayin' a lot...
Anyways, the tunic of soft green velvet was a perfect fit, and the gold accents were not too much, especially after our accomplice put the armor over his head. That thing was even more huge than our customer. And that's sayin' a lot!
Sadly, the finishing the transaction took forever, so my headache only increased. But luckily he was very very content and tipped us 10 euro's each. So that's a means of determining the happiness of a customer.
After that, we had a small meeting, by the end of which my headache tried to imitate a real migraine attack. By the time I was home again I was so devastated I just wanted to lie down. NoKey put me to bed, rubbed my shoulders, and read some Terry Pratchett to me while I snuggled under the blankets and fell asleep.
At 3am, my regular pee-break, I found out that my headache still was present and lingering. It just went "Hey, you're up! Well, so am I!"
Today I didn't do much, still a bit backlashed from the previous days (did I mention we had visited the market and traipsed around Rotjeknor for about five hours in blistering sun Tuesday?). NoKey programmed his ass off (I sure hope not), and now the server is up, and the site is running from the server. And the other site. And another site. All sites that used to be on NoKey's computer are now on the server. And all our mp3's. And I'm already itching to rename them all correctly *wink*
