photoblog: The Rose
Apr. 21st, 2004 10:39 amYesterday Voltar called about wanting to come over that night. So naturally I said 'sure!'. It's becoming more of an open door to all friends here. Not half an hour later he called again, asking whether or not he could come over right that very minute. So, seeing that I was practically with pins in my mouth, I figured that the jacket for my mother's wedding could wait (I once stated that I'd rather go naked than finish it, I believe), and said 'ofcourse'.
Turned out he needed some cheering up. So I did the old 'girl with pms' antidote. Big mug of tea, lots of chocolate, a listening ear, and then some distraction.
I cooked veggiemush for us three, mainly being half a pound of shrooms, a red pepper (paprika), leeks, an union, a toe of garlic for each person, and a lot of pre-cooked potatoes. Some salt, pepper, and a lot of oregano sprinkled in there finished it. And the mayonaise with dill was the cream of the coffee, so to speak.
Then NoKey came home and Voltar and I waved from the balcony. He was holding something behind his back and when he came upstairs he kissed me and gave me a single red rose. He's never bought me flowers before, and I was practically dancing with joy!

I love flowers.
So when Voltar left around eight, we took the time for eachother. After NoKey did some of the dishes and I made a see-through nightie (a Schroder coupon) in a mere 45 minutes. We slept around midnight.
