So not enjoying Linux right now

With Windows, you know it's a crappy OS and if something malfunctions, you can just blame it on Windows, scorn Bill Gates, and try to fix it (as if...).

But now Linux is acting all weird on me. First XMMS (Linux-like winampy thing) went cranky on me. It didn't want to play until I was logged in for two minutes. So NoKey was busy on that this weekend.
Now I just logged in, knowing you guys would probably want an update and check my Sword & Ink e-mail and that maybe Frank had finally e-mailed about the fotoshoot. Imagine my surprise when KDE mail said I could not log in because I had to make settings for a profile first. Imagine my horror when all of my bookmarks were gone! No more Penny Arcade comics, wave-goodbye-to-the-Elf-Only-Inn now, because all my fucking bookmarks are gone.

NoKey is on the phone now with his mom, otherwise I know he would have fixed this already. It's not normal for Linux to lose your settings like that. And I need my regular fix of comics and the soap opera most journals are.

Oh, by the by, I'm glad you all are still not updating in weekends. Really appreciate that. With my bookmarks gone, I don't know what to do online...
