Ack! Quack Quack!
Oct. 27th, 2003 11:02 amWork was okay. Timo was a regular pain in the nuts though. I hate him at times. I wish he would just...grow up sometime or other. I was in the kitchen and though Sunday kitchenduty means you have to clean the whole buffet, there was a group staying late, so that was okay. The big boxes (what's the word again) came at a regular pace, two at a time, instead of Erik going beserk and popping them all inside at once. He donated some procureur (the best meat the restaurant has to offer) and potatoes and kartoffelsalat. Add that to the leg of chicken I still have and you have a nice dinner coming up. *grins*
So my bed is standing ready with stuff I'll take over to NoKey's, which includes my Halloween outfit for Pasje's party on Friday. And my outfit for today. I'm gonna be sooooo cold. Probably. But I can crawl into NoKey's arms at the end of a trainride. *grins*
Other good news was that yesterday for the first time in three months, I have sent an e-mail from this computer. That involved logging into NoKey's computer using putty first, and then via his computer lynxing my way to xs4all. But it worked and I danced.
The sad news was however, when I tried to do that same trick again today, my computer froze in the "no, you can't internet"-way. Omnipotent little bitch. Who is he to tell me not to check my mail! Ofcourse now you realize, this means WAR!
I am so fed up with this fucking computer. I'm chief editor of an online Roleplay Magazine for crying out loud! I can't work without internet!
NoKey stated that he still had a computer for me, one he'll install linux on and which enables me to internet yet again (I hope). Now to master linux. On the other plus side, learning new things is good. And all this shit my damned computer gives me (may he burn in fucking HELL!) makes me truly appreciate the times when I can internet without troubles.
Gotta get dressed now, and get ready to catch a train.
