Another blah but busy day
Oct. 2nd, 2003 10:21 pmThe pro's of having a holiday is that you can sleep as long as you'd like. So I did. I slept late, until 10.30 and then read the Legend of Reinaard de Vos. These Medieval Legends and Sagas book is okay. It's nice to read the saga's, but clearly this book was written for the common person, not someone who is really interested, and would actually like to read the pages long medieval Dutch sagas instead of these flat, detail-less descriptions of how the saga went.
Blah.
In any case, I then had coffee at my computer and set to working on the Shadowrifts II pictures, editing them etc. I threw away some that were too vague, but I still have 56 pictures of this joyous event. Then I set to work to rename all my Shadowrifts I pictures, since they were disorganised bunch, and if I can't handle something it's disorganisation. A mess. Except for where my room is concerned.
Speaking of rooms, I set to work after dinner (and a nice episode of ST: Voyager) [dinner being left-over Chinese food] to pack stuff. I had run into Sabine yesterday and again today. We had a preliminary room-switch talk. Since she will be moving to the small room I am in now, and I will go to the large room she has now, it could cause a problem. In any case, the large closet will be all off limits, and I set to work to packing clothes in boxes. Larp clothes, mostly. *wink*
I did pack all of my larp clothes, most of my shirts, folded my hardly-worn blouses, and packed my cds with the big sweaters so they would be safe.
I'd say I am at about 60% of packing everything. So that is good process for just an hour's worth of work.
I also did some revising on Styx' book. I need to reprint every page, and not just because Garamond size 11 is too small, but also because I now know more of the in character names. 'the lord of the city' will all be replaced by 'lord Thoronghil' and so on.
Well, my printer proved to be worthless, seeing I printed a picture of NoKey and it came out all striped (and though I must admit he still looks v. handsome as a zebra, I'd rather have his entire face in that picture frame). Plus, the printers in school are much faster anyway.
Still have to write plan for free study point (it's free, but you still have to write a plan on what you plan to do, and then you have to do something. Jeez.), but I've been busy. So to speak.
Tomorrow: pack, work on Marius coat, and work at Gon. Yayness.
