Another fine night
Aug. 12th, 2003 02:18 amBoy, do I love holidays!
Mom and Luc left for Steenwijk around er...fiveish I guess. I then ate, and prepped myself.
Malor arrived sort of on time, and we cycled to the Loetbos (the petty excuse for three trees they call a forest in these parts). We found the three trees (the only ones worth mentioning) and with some effort pulled our humanoid bodies in their branches. Up high, we sat and enjoyed scraping the green patches from our limbs. We pretended to be Elvish scouts when people walked underneath us once, and shared our waterbottle. We talked and enjoyed the presence of the tree and eachother.
When darkness fell, we carefully went down the tree again. The lowest branches were still quite far up (I'd say, two and a half meter above the ground). We cycled back to O'kerk. There we fired up Jane Austen's "Sense and Sensibility". In the middle of the sappy movie, we butsed and worked on an interview for Sword & Ink.
