All play and all work…
Nov. 10th, 2002 10:11 amThe dutchelfwood meeting was fun! I spoke to Henning and Catweesil, which is really good because they will both be attending Formanterra in December. Also spoke to
muizenstaartje again, told her to update her livejournal. I guess she’s not that much an LJ-person. And with Merrick I went shopping before the meeting and she bought a gothic dress. The same one I have of the laughing vampire, only in dark red.
Since I could only stay a very short time, I had little time to do anything but hug Tjerk, make three drawings and a short semi-poem, and make some pictures. So I have a drawing from Merrick, one of Catweesil, and one of William Li. Three drawings. Not a bad harvest at all. Me likes.
I raced to the trainstation where I ran into Arjen P. (who wasn’t going to the meeting but it was weird seeing him there because he lives in Groningen just like Oz) but I missed my train by five minutes. I did make it to work on time though…as if by a miracle. I had to take care of a group of 30 and a table of 6, the latter were way nice. When I got home my feet were all swollen but I had worked very hard indeed. I slept at two.
I don’t think my feet are done with the swelling, but I’m in the dishes tonight. It’s Sunday, which means the entire buffet will come to my kitchen but if I bring nice music and a lot of it I can manage.
