Just as I started typing I sipped my coffee and I had expected it to be a harsh one, but it’s actually quite mild and well…just perfect!
*sips* mmmhh….

So, as I was wondering. Dear lord it’s too early to contemplate the meaning of my pathetic little life…but I’ll do it anyway. In the war/third world countries/ poor countries, people would starve and do anything for food. And this morning I found myself throwing away chicken-curry salad because it was one week old and didn’t appeal to me in the meantime so I didn’t eat it. As I was making bread (bread!!! Yay!) I realised that a] people are starving and also that b] there are bright people in the world who don’t receive proper education. They want to learn but instead they are forced to work because there is no school or money for school in their life.
And then I pondered that I’ve been nagging about school while in other countries people would kill for being able to go to school. I felt guilty.

You’ve must have heard this all before but have you ever thought about the meaning of it to you?
I give to greenpeace and I can study easily, but what have I ever done for them?
I’m too compassionate. Blegh.

“Nobody makes a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little” – Edmund Burke (British statesman)

Hm. Now I’ll just get on with my life as you want to with yours.

Ticket #94832 is currently in place 548 out of 1775

Filming with Tjerk went okay. He was late *frowns* and troubled about the questions but after a cup of coffee and a nice cycleride in cold beautiful autumn sunshine he seemed awake. Three people, some bread, cycle back. Done!

Tomorrow the Russian Kid will cut and paste it and hand it in with my Tourette-summoning teacher. *grin*

I'm not really in the mood but I have to cut and paste my 10 minute item with the Sheep and her Soulmate. I just take another look at my oh so wonderful Post-housewarming-pre-halloween-beerfest pictures and then eat another Knabblestick and be off. *Sigh*

Yupyup, bashed with The Dreamwalker tonight. He’s getting a lot better I must say, I was impressed. I thought he had practised at home, but he claims he didn’t. Riiighht.
He’s more on the offensive side while I’m trying to practice defense. I’ve intercepted most of his blows but I can’t help my right arm being ‘cut off’ every tmie. The series of 4 or 5 blows in a row are getting better for both of us.

After two times of 5 hp per location each, we decided to do some basic offense/defense and I let him try to defense himself. That was pretty hard indeed, being distracted by dogs and cars and so on. I fought in my long larpcloak and I had no trouble at all with it, less even than with the semi-long one which kept sliding to one side. I didn’t fall or trip over it. I managed to scare and surprise The Dreamwalker with it at one point even.

On a less happy note: we don’t have cable-tv anymore. Only snow on the tube. I asked one of the neighbours and he said they don’t have a problem. Which means that mr. IncrediblyStupid probably didn’t pay his bill and we get stuck with the consequences. *sigh*
Next time he rings, I open while wearing vampire-attire.

I can’t wait for my pain tomorrow, I’ve practiced kicking with Mirror yesterday, played the guitar (baret chords are p*a*i*n*f*u*l), and fought with larpswords. No pain no game.

Off to bed now. G’night.
