It was nice to be working again. Last night I started at a quarter to six (a bit early but I wanted to) after admiring the new workshirts. In stead of the ugly yellow (I mean, who looks good in yellow???) we now have black cotton polo’s with “Gonzales” printed on the back and my left tit.
I very much enjoyed working with my 28 guests. They were polite, didn’t throw food at me, moved when I asked them and were cheerful. All the opposite of what Kristel had in her corner, or so she told me.

I got home around one-thirty and woke up at nine-thirty. I vaguely heard Tommy leave for her work this morning but other than that I can’t recall sleeping besides the mucus (snot!!) dripping out of my nose every ten minutes.

I just called my mom, I’ll go over to her tomorrow and I needed to figure out at what time she’d be home. She’s going to drop off the cats at my brothers’ place today. Then she’ll fly out on Wednesday.
And then I baked an egg! Mjam! Just like my father used to eat them back in the days. Just a spiegelei with ham and cheese on the bread. Nothing fancy. *wink* *gloat* *bite* *chew* and more of that jazz.

Tonight work at five. I’ll be charmed by a group of 57 people coming in to eat at five! Five! Well, 57 is a lot, but I think I won’t be alone serving them. I hope. I hate carrying heavy trays because they make my arm hurt.

And I’ll finish the peasantdress I was making today. It’s going to be ever so purdy…

Turns out, the weekend of the 25th, the restuarant will be closed because of my boss’ birthday! Tommy and I had been thinking about throwing the beerfest that weekend, but nothing’s sure yet (so hold your horses!). Then that Saturday I’ll have a mini-meet or rather, a medium-sized meet of the Dutchelfwooders here in Ede. I’ve arranged the cafe, the time and posted stuff on the group so perfectly neat everyone should know all the details. Suzan will be spending the night here and maybe Mischa too, but we’ll just have to see about that.

My dress is done, the sleeves are attached too now, and it looks devine! It’s really pretty. I will ofcourse take pictures because it’s just that much fun to take pictures of stuff you made. I looked at how many fabric I have left, and I still have about 4 metres of the black cotton so I started on a semi-circular, semi-long cloak which I will make in two colors. Tomorrow I’ll go to the market really early and see if I can buy a nice colour to make the inside with. *grin* I always said I’d never work with ‘voeringstof’ (coating fabric?) again but I will. Of the green fabric I still have two metres left and that’s really good! And of the white-ish I have about two too, maybe less.

So there’s enough fabric to work a miracle with (er…yes…something like that) and I’m kind of running out of idea’s. I’d love to take orders for larp-clothing but I’d have to make stuff I can never fit in which is harder to make fitting. But cloaks are always nice to make. I’m thinking about wearing mine to work tonight, just to show off and feel what it feels like again…

For the rest of me, I’m kind of bored. It’s Sunday afternoon and I’ve nothing to do but wait until I can eat before the taxi to work comes. (I take the regional taxi to work because my job is in the middle of the heather. To cycle back with one or two girls at night, around 1, is a very bad idea. So my boss pays me the almost 4 pleuro’s it takes for the taxi and drives me home at night. I wouldn’t mind cycling the 30 minutes in summer though. Ede has wonderful forests.)

I think I’m going to call my boyfriend now. I bought a nice bottle of Australian Chardonnay and I wonder if he’d like to share it with me. So, I’m off. Later gaters!
