Around twoish, Ramón rang our doorbell. I flew around his neck (to hug him), because we hadn’t seen eachother since december. A long time indeed. He had been to Salamanca in between, I had been to Ladyfest and Lowlands, we have lead a seperate life for a while. It was really weird.
But there he was, at the doorstep. Grinning wide like he always is. Being the real businessman and all.

We had coffee and then TommyCee came home. So she joined in on the fun and we three went into town. We ate at a Greek restaurant, pretty cheap too: for 38 euro’s we three had big plates full of good food. The gyros and tzaziki Ramón and I had was wonderful. Tommy settled for the omelette with tomatoes and other vegetables because she’s a vegetarian. But we had great fun giggling away (I don’t know what her meal tasted like)

Then we hung at home, I played some guitar and Ramón made his move on Tommy. Which was pretty weird but fun to watch. He left around one in the morning.

Tommy’s working now so I have the household to myself. [dishes, laundry, clean the floor, etc].
Mom sent me a letter with pictures of Joan. I’ll write her a big letter. So much has happened since February when we went to Scotland to see her.

Yes. Well. Hm indeed. Tommy and I went to the So What and met up with the Dreamwalker and Merrick, his sister, there. We heard there was going to be a band called So What playing and I hadn’t been there for a while.

While we sat at the bar talking, Mr. Guitargod walked by. Merrick joyfully continued her tale about godknowswhat, but my mind was busy rebooting and all I could think was “they hung camouflagenets at the back wall. What was there before?”

Only a minute or two later he adressed me with the quiestion “How did it go with you Ikea closet? (which I had smsd him about before the move, maybe a month ago) So I was all “well okay, and I’m rooming with Tommy here now.” And Tommy started the wonderful tale of how we wake up in the morning when I, in my horsey peejays stand at the coffee machine not being able to say anything but ”uuhhhhhh”. Then I told him I had been digging in the garden and that I could have used his archeological knowledge in my quest to exterminate poison ivy and crowfeet.

We had a real conversation, and I didn’t even make an ass out of myself. I suppose that’s good.

Later on, I joined him and Axe (Patrick Bijl) and some others outside because the band sucked. They only played coversfor 3 sets of 45 minutes each. We left after the first set, because well, they sucked. Home so early!
We discussed the open stage thing that’s going on tomorrow. It starts at 4 pm! And there will be 10 bands, three of which I really want to see. I’ll wear my newly assembled cloak with dress.

And even though they are your friends, drunk people are so annoying…
