Ack, Tests!
Jan. 28th, 2002 10:17 amToday Ill have a test from Language Control, which is not fun. Its about etymology (where words come from) and style (double denial: I have not denied that). Sigh. Theres not that much learning involved, but for Wednesday (the BIG test) there is.
And I suck in discipline. I never pick up my books when I am supposed to. I clean my room, play some guitar, play a game, watch tv and oops: bedtime.
I did draw some great pictures this weekend. I had sort of an image in my head (sometimes with pictures, I think in images. It would be an elven bowman (I always try to draw elven bowmen, but somehow I never get them right. I need to marry one before I can, I suppose). I could just see the picture in my head, as if Henning had drawn it. First with pencil, later with pen. And I cant normally work with pen.
So I tried, and I did make a great picture which looks like Adrian in a way! Lol, Ive been watching that new video from No Doubt too much! But after the Black Mohawk elf, I drew some weapons. I can never get a bow or axe right when my picture-person has to hold it in his hand, but apart .wow. They are the best. All in all, I drew (in order of how much I like them):
Fantasy Weapons: Bow, axe, arrowtip.
Unicorn Lizard: Crossover between Unicorn, Horse, Dragon and Lizard. Or something.
Black Mohawk Elf : Elf with mohawk and great ears!
Baby Dragon: Yay, a dragon! Its just a baby and from here on I went in error with size!
How does an orc pick its nose: fun, but too much white
What did I step in now?: Some sort of knight with strange garments stepping into some groce creatures mouth.
From the baby dragon onwards, I drew too large. With pencil that is not such big a deal, but with a pen it is. Theres too much white in the drawings, and way not enough shadings to my liking.
The most funny part is that I drew How does an orc pick its nose in the middle of the night. It is fun to have a picture in your mind.
My creative mind is working over-hours. In the middle of the night I wake up and I have to write or draw! Its strange, especially because I can remember writing a piece of a songtext, but I cant remember the exact thing. And I have never had ideas for a drawing in this manner. Not that I see what I want it to be. Not at all.
