Yer Eyes Are Open Wide Why Can't You See!

Anyhow, I watched the movie "Patch Adams" with Robin Williams today. It was a great movie and really set my mind to work.
The basic idea I came up with is: If it makes you happy, why not?
With a small note: As long as it is within the laws of God and the country.
Really, think about this. If it makes me happy to drink water from a chrystal pitcher and glass, why not? I needn't drink it from a cup per se. If I want it to be great, to drink it from a sherry glass, why not.
See, my father would disapprove of this. And I have found out: why not? I get a thrill from a sunlight beam from a cloud, when the sky is cloudy. My heart jumps at the sight of water glittering in a pond. I get a warm feeling in my chest from a tree. Why not? Why fucking not? I mean, if I can find myself engrossed in daydreaming of me drinking water from a christal glass in a dining room the size of the school auditorium....
Wouldn't the world be a happier place if everyone had these little dreams and made them come true? If I can see the wonder in little miracles, I shall lift my spirits that way...
I refuse to be down because of what other people want me to do. I refuse to be depressed because of what other people think of me, or say to me, or do to me. I can make myself happy!
