I hate subject lines

Sooo lotsa meetings in school today, I actually did - well - stuff. First there was this Politics discussion which I had to make statements for. The Kid made one statement (for us three) and provoked so big a discussion that thanks to him I didn't even had to do my homework. (Like I had done that, tisk tisk).

Then there was English, with quite unexpected for the Kid, a presentation. I was with the Kid on the subject: The Lord of the Rings. Not to spoil people's high hopes I didn't as much talk about part two or three but concentrated mostly on The Fellowship of the Rings. I talked about the differences between the book and the movie (from hearsay, I'm still stuck in the prologue while re-reading the book) and blasted the teacher to smitherines by quoting some Elvish (with Arwen accent). Me so evil.

Then another enourmous discussion about the Project weeks (upcoming two weeks) and the reports we wrote in the last week, extensively on the Satanism part ofcourse. Which was even continued during the biggg lunch. I was so hungry. I guess I'm so not used to doing stuff in school.

Looking forward to tonight, see some theater. Mirror is performing here in school and I'm curious. Also, I'm having weird undirected thoughts about a forest, trees and candles.
But I must get crackin' on that report on Satanism now. Jolly good.

Wait, you quoted Elvish (Sindarin or Quenya?) in English class? I would think that would be off-topic. I mean, Elvish is not English, so what is the justificiation? Speak English! *smile*

I was referring to Tolkien as a master of languages, not merely the English language, which he has proven by writing books like the Hobbit, the Silmarrillion and the everinteresting Lord of the Rings, as well as developing languages from scratch, Quenya and Sindarin.

And it was quite appreciated, I can assure you.
