So much for Satanism
Jan. 8th, 2003 01:14 pmYes, I am posting this under [*] because there are people who read my journal and can be offended by the things that are going on in my mind. I mean ofcourse, Kristel and her so-called satanist friends.
Last night I arrived just in time at the trainstation and Klaas and I had a nice time chatting about stuff going to Amsterdam. He's a drummer in a band called Deception, and we talked about bands and music and moving out of the house. It was quite new for me to be introvert once again and do all of the asking.
In Amsterdam we went to the NZ Voorburgwal, I had figured to walk the Nieuwedijk to the Dam and then on to the NZV but we crossed it sooner which was good. We walked towards #67, the Hotel Sofitel, where we'd meet a man called Kinma, the high priest of Satan's Church there in Amsterdam. We could recognize him by his black clothing and short blonde hair. Turns out he was one of the couple that walked in front of us from the minute we stepped onto the NZV.
The bar of the Hotel Sofitel was Xtreme luXury. Not to mention way way way too expensive. BIIIGGG red plushy chairs, classical music, a man in tux serving us. It all spelled r*i*c*h to me.
Kinma and the woman with him, Siuda, were quite friendly and very open about Satanism. They explained everything quite well, and since I had been interested in Wicca I knew about rituals, magic, the god Pan, pentacle's, and meditation. Many of the preparations before rituals they explained were thesame.
BUT! Wicca has one major difference. Wiccan magic can't be used to influence others against their will (which would be black magic), while Satanism doens't seperate black and white magic but believes magic is both, and can be used to benefit you as you speak. Whilst a wiccan can not perform a rite for a love spell, a satanist does so if he pleases.
While at first I found what they said logic, inspiring, later on I sailed a different course, realising that the only reason Satanists come together or even care about others is because of their own good. $elfi$h.
On the upside, they do take responsibility for all of their actions, encourage thinking about the world and philosophy.
When we left, Kinma asked wheter we could pay for our own drinks. Bit weird....since he was the one that picked the place that rich-ass hotelbar.
And yes, I still have all my limbs and no, they don't sacrifice animals. Those are satans not satanists.
Satanism is a b-b-b-bad religion for me.
