“Live through this”
Jan. 3rd, 2003 07:08 pmTommy and I went shopping today. It was fun giggling at stuff in the Wibra, where I bought a nailpolish set and a colouringbook with markers for the DJO Christmas celebration. It’s a nice idea to get together but why they use an excuse like “let’s celebrate Christmas in January together” is beyond me. Stupid ideas like “oh, and let’s do pressies too then?” (I just know that had to come from Sarah, she being the spoiled brat and all) ask for stupid remedies so I am being my blunt self and I’ll take along the above-mentioned nice-if-you’re-not-yet-in-your-teenage-years presents.
*Gets up to stirfry foodstuff*
I wonder how food can actually burn to black before it’s ready to be eaten??? Ah well. I’m cooking another mush vegetable dish. Something that can only be enjoyed if you’re a) not taking care of a family or b) having guests c) or roommates over. It’s uhm…unions, mushrooms, broccoli, potatoes, garlic (I’m using two pieces because last night I didn’t taste it…the DJO’ers will so enjoy sleeping in one room with my garlic-sweating body…heheh..), and err…tomatoes and cheese. So…mmmm!
I still need to pack and I’m kind of in the period that all girls go through. You know, the one where you sort of break down while pondering “What the fuck am I going to wear?”. I suppose I won’t have the opportunity to change into something clean but still I’m only going away for one night. It’s the wonderful time of year that it’s cold and wet outside so I hope to keep my bags as small as possible. (meaning: sleepingbag and mat inside a backpack and a cd player ought to suffice).
Other than this I have little news. Saturday take train to Den Bosch, a bus to Veghel, Sunday repeat this track in the opposite direction, and Monday I guess go to Rotterdam or school. (no class but I might as well internet).
