So I had decided to go to the city, but take my floppy’s just in case school was open. It wasn’t, and the gates were shut with a chain and lock. I guess that means it’s closed. I just cycled along, just realizing it was wonderful weather and the rain had cleared the air a bit. I ended up cycling towards town, and I called Tjerk to see if he was up for coffee.
He didn’t answer his phone so I went into the city. I tried to find a shop where they sell tracker’s backpacks, but the only ones I could find were 160-300 euro. That’s a bit over my budget.

What I did buy was a cd of Aerosmith for only 7 euro, a cd player so I can listen to my cd’s in the train home (I craaavvved that!) and a new jeans. And most importantly…some nuts and greaseballs for the birds. I hung them in the willow that is just outside our terrace and I already saw a bird with it. [een koolmees! Brutale krengetjes…]I don’t know what it’s called in English but it’s a common bird in Holland. Black and yellow head, looks like a burglar and is pretty cheeky.

Ik heb ook al Vlaamse gaaien (2 paartjes), eksters en roodborstjes in de tuin gezien, maar daar ken ik ook al geen Engelse vertaling van. Ik hoop dat ze op het voedsel afkomen.

So that was some more Dutch. Have fun trying to figure it out hAh!

But I had lunch at MacD’s and then coffee at Tjerk’s. He suggested taking care of the 4 packages of pancakeflour by inviting him over Monday as well as the Dreamwalker and Merrick. Maybe I can arrange that, but Merrick’s probably working since she didn’t pick up the phone.

I guess I’ll be getting ready for work and have dinner. I’ve grown quite accustomed with working with Gonzales already, which doesn’t mean I enjoy staying up so late.
