Hier kommt die Sonne...
Dec. 24th, 2002 11:14 amYes, Jane's in the house again. Trying to bore you all to death with her mindless ramblings which are directed to her electronic diary. *whoohoos*
So, euhm, I'm now at my mom's. A lot has happened. Yesterday my dad dropped me off at the busstation since he had to do some shopping anyways and I took a bus to the little village where my mom lives. Where nothing ever changes. I see girls there and they scare me. They have a life that could have been mine. What if I had stayed in Ouderkerk and wouldn't have gone to college? I would probably have worked in one of the shops, or been pregnant by now.
Then after coffee mom and Luc and I went to Rotterdamn (as TC calls it haha) to shop and it struck me again (it never fails to amaze me) how different it is from Ede. I guess it kind of has it's very own thing going. There are so many beautiful people there, like there's a big herd of [okay I have to say it] sheep that just follow the fashion and talk like everybody tells them to. Like their life being dominated by society, while society isn't anything more than other sheep just following the flock.
And then there are the crazy people. They just stare blankly out of the corner of their eyes to you or talk to you but you don't even know them. Scarryyy. So Rotterdamn sort of was another example of what I don't want to become.
Then I ran into Tjerk and I bought two chinese balls. You turn and twist them in your hands and they're really relaxing. And another one of the Robert Jordan series. Crossroads of Twilight still isn't released so I decided to buy one of the others I don't yet own. I now have part one, three, four, five, eight, and nine. *sigh*
Hum. At home I chatted a bit on msn, we had nasi for dinner and enjoyed a movie. It was quite crowded on the couch, three humans and two cats. But it was cosy and warm.
Vlekje ofcourse slept on my bed, she already was waiting for me as I came upstairs. (My old room is in the attic). She stayed until early morning when she always goes out to hunt.
Breakfast, shower, dishes, and now Luc and mom are shopping for tonight's gourmet. Jos and his girl Carolien and my aunt and uncle are coming over.
I'm loading up on Rammstein and Muse. Just needed some kick-ass music to unload a bit I guess. These days are filled with tension.
Tomorrow I'll visit my grandma, my father will pick me up and afterwards will drop me off in Ede again. Then all of the required visits are made and I can figure out what I'm going to do for the last day of the year. I don't want to sit in Ede alone, or at my mother's, just fighting the sleep until her cats are scared to death by all the noise and then say "happy new year" and go to bed. Hm.

Date: 2002-12-24 03:23 am (UTC)Oh, and cats are neat. My cat, Jello (his name is Magellan, but we have always shortened it to Jello - it makes sense if you speak it outloud) is on his last legs, so is not as nice to snuggle with as he used to be. And I never see any cats at school - dorms and such do no allow them. When I eventually get my own place, I will probably almost immediately get a cat or three. *smile*
