It'll be tough for me to post this all because the Live was in Dutch, or rather, Flemish, and this will be English but I will post some stuff in Dutch for the people who read this and for me to remember (which is what this is all about ofcourse).
Some terms I might use:
IC = in character, you are another person
OC= Out of Character, you can't be seen by IC people and can just chill without having to roleplay
Larp= live action roleplaying, basically it's interactive theatre in medieval style.
Thursday
Migs picked me up at my house with Geert, another one of the Organisers, if I am correct. He came over around 8, when I had finally decided to do the dishes after all, and in the middle of them they came in. They hijacked my computer cable feed to power (which I handily forgot ofcourse and is now with them in the other world known as Belgium).
That night I typed out a lot of shit for them, some stories which would be printed in Formanterra writing. But they had the wrong font with them and I got to work with an anti-rsi qwerty keyboard (thank good, the belgian keyboard is way different) which was devided in two with the t, g, and b on the left and the y, h, and n on the right. Irritating but I could still type well.
I gave them all a flask of Gonzales Winecognac which we all drank in honor of Sinterklaas and Formanterra. That night we slept near the heated rooms in the inn. It was a sort of camphouse with loads of bedrooms and washplaces which was way cold in the very back but I'll call it an inn nonetheless.
Friday
When I got up around 10 or 10.30 I drank a cup of coffee and accompanied Shino (don't know if that's the correct spelling but you pronounce his name like that *grin*) to a flat piece of soil where we started building party-tents to make a city: Cappamore. It was hard work and there were no descriptions of how they had to be put together in the cold. We were interrupted by breakfast/brunch and when the first people arrived around two we hung a piece of plastic as a wall between the trees. The grounds around the inn were foresty with pine-needles and twigs and leeves scattered around. When that was hung up I went inside to warm a bit, make my bed near the monsterkot (with the costumes in the back of the inn where it was least warm *sad eyes* but I had a room which I had to share only with Elinor, in stead of sleeping in an overcrowded very near to lots of noise room with 20 others. When that was done, the NPC's (people who have a diversity of roles to play, not only monsters but also citypeople) were briefed and then everyone was briefed and we could all get started. I had changed into my white dress with yellow belt and swordbelt around my waist and over my right shoulder to play Tis, Tempelion of Lun (bodyguard of the Cashel (priests) of Lun). As soon as we were in game we ate soup and bread. A scarce meal because the people of the expedition hadn't brought home supplies and we were running out of food. It was expensive too, two klass (in stead of one).
I sat with the Cashels of Lun: Salyana, Attar, Rianna and Diana. We ran into Liam there, a man who sat at a table with his sword. He was very sad and Salyana (played by Moniek) and Attar (played by Ruud) invited him to join as apprentice to become another Tempelion of Lun. I was asked to train him, and I agreed. I tried to find a Kruaat or Karaat of the Dreghori (army) to talk to them about training Liam (played by Paul). I tried the DEST (The tower of eternal battle of the Dreghori the Dreghori Eeuwige Strijd Toren) but found him later in between the cities of Tinnamon (where the inn was) and Cappamore.
OC: I was very impressed both OC and IC by the city of Cappamore by night. Fires roared, and candles everywhere lit the houses and the people who were trying to warm themselves by the fire. There was talk and laughter, Berend was working with his anvil and hammer (don't recall the english word for SMID!). Back in the inn in Tinnamon I sat looking at people gambling with dice...Dayari (citizens).
I had to change into my next role and hey looky looky there! Pirates! Seven pirates and I was Black JIM! With many noises we entered the city of Cappamore and were searching for beer! We were loud, noisy, pesty pirates who tried to pay with Zwikkel in stead of normal money. I flirted with everyone, even the Tredanya (banished people, some are criminals) behind the bar. I drank two beers fast (because that's what pirates do) and petted a kruaat of the Dreghori on his silver cloth because he was so soft. I tried to ask every guy and lass including those of our own crew to come to my cabin on board and play "pim pam pet" and "tafeltje dekje" with them. Oh, and try to sell some merchandise. In the inn were several other pirates as well, but their ship had sunk which was reason enough for us to laugh at them and call them Blubblubs. We even challenged them to a duel. [My outfit included red scars on my face, hurrah for scars!]
In the end, there was a delegation coming with us to our ship to get the merchandise and I succeeded in finding someone to 'play' with: Wammes (played by Thijs). We set out to the harbour and walked over a board to the ship. Unfortunately Capt'n Bob (played by Bob) wouldn't allow landrats below decks except in the cargohold, and before I could get to play with him behind some ropes, they left with the cargo.
As soon as they were out of sight we ran to ambush them. Bob stepped out onto the road to demand our crates back and BoomBoom fired on them with the ballista. I ran out as well, and in the battle that followed, Capt'n Bob, one other pirate and I (aye, Black Jim!) died. Another was wounded and some even managed to escape with one of the crates.
For the last 30 minutes I reentered the inn as a music-making woman, called Gloria. We played songs like The Wild Rover, Carricfergus, Molly Malone, Dicey Reilly and Let it be. I went to bed and got cold around 5.30.
Saturday
Woke up around ten, had breakfast and pranced around as Tis a bit more, including a mass for Lun. Soon I had changed to another role: Alyssande, a widow who lost her husband in the Great Disaster where the island was torn from the homeland. She entered the inn crying and was quickly spoken to by Tara, a tredanya. Tara took her to a wiccan woman in the forest who gave her a bit of strength. There, Alyssande ran into the people of Lun. Salyana and Attar tried to talk about my husband, who now lives with the stars, guarded by mother Moon (Lun) but I insisted on going to Cappamore. Attar accompanied me as he wouldn't let me travel alone.
In Cappamore I talked to a lot of people and spent some time daydreaming near the fires. I witnissed Borb flirt with Esmeralda and the smoke of the fire made my crying easier. *OC: grin*. A man (played by Dennis) who had problems with his leg approached me and asked what was wrong. I told him I was searching for my husband Elion and that he looked a lot like him. He introduced himself as Mankth and spoke of the ghosts in Tinnamon. I insisted on going back to Tinnamon to see if my husband was a ghost or whether he was still alive and we traveled together (OC: the road from Cappamore to Tinnamon was around the city to make the travelling take some time to make it more realistic). We spoke shortly while we walked and as soon as we were back in the inn for lunch I spoke a bit but soon dreamed again and was crying. My eyes were a bit irritated and that helped a lot with the crying. Mankth tried to calm me by rubbing my back but he wasn't really used to touching women. He said that my husband was a fool because he left a girl as pretty as me alone and he insisted on making me feel a bit better. His funny remarks "Meiske" sometimes made it hard for me to stay in character. I disappeared to search for Elion again soon.
I also played a Killer Femme who came to get some bodyparts of the cashel of Dor and another one (I don't know, I didn't do the talking, I was there to cut off a penis or two or fight). We were a squad of six. The men had made a deal and we came to finish the ceremony. They disagreed and we fought for it. The Dreghori came to their aid and we were slain. *sad but evil grin*
Then I changed to my greens to play Breena, Cashel of Mil (nature). I tried to talk to the people of Lun, and Harald my Tempelion tried to get some stuff for a mass together but that had to be postponed (OC: cancelled because of the time pressure) because one of the Cashels of Dor (death) had been accused by a Cashel of Has (hatred). Salyana as the Cashel of Lun, the Quintor (head of the religion) of Fuk (bad luck) and Breena (suddenly Quintor) had to form a council to see whether he was guilty. He was forced to kneel before us. There was a lot of rumbling and the DA, one of Has was talking loudly to us and then to the Quintor of Dor. With some hand signals I let my tempelion quiet the Dayari present while Salyana silenced both the Quintor of Fuk as the other ones. When the people of Has couldn't get their witnesses together and the charges were dropped.
Then I became Dasume, a woman from Cappamore. During dinner I tried to get some costumers but in the end I only found Mankth (Dennis) ready to be massaged, but only because I didn't have any klass to pay for my meal. He really objected...*grin*...not!
After that I quickly changed to the Tempelion of Lun role. Outside I was in time for the conference of religions. All the religions introduced themselves, as well as some new. One of Deo (scent) and of Joy (think prostitutes and fun), and some others. After the introduction, the citizens could vote and then the Tempelions of the two opposing religions would fight a duel: three blows. The 5 religion with the most votes and the winning Tempelions would be represented in the Sacrilor, a council with Quintors.
Nine people voted for Lun, and in the duel, the Tempelion of Sol (Quint) fought against Tis, and I lost. BUT! The Cashel of Sol had used a ray of sun to blind me
(OC: she didn't use a tiny pull-bomb as she was supposed to and I thought the light was of a camera so I didn't act on it, but Salyana had a meeting and could arrange another fight for me).
Then, I changed back to my Alyssande role. She now was back in the inn and a lot more cheerful than that morning! A very very suspicious change, I must say. She flirted with a few Dreghori who were soooo masculine and had such greaaaat muscles. *Grin* But in the end, one of the Blubblubs took the bait. He seriously engaged in a conversation with me after I bought him a beer. Just as I was about to strike, there was an NPC briefing and I begged Migs to finish my role. He let me. As soon as I was back in the inn I found some prostitutes trying to talk to my pirate but I convinced him to take a walk with me outside. There were more people outside and we walked halfway to Cappamore. Then I stopped him, pointed at his chest and said. "Bang. You're having a heart-attack." Alyssande shouted for help, and Illiano of Iff (writing) came to his aid with another man. They walked leisurely and tried to get him to a healer but once they were supporting him I said: "OC: too late. It was a heartattack, and he's dead". They took the body to the cashel of Dor for a last ceremony while Alyssande disappeared.
Then there were NPC's building a ghosttown of Cappamore. Once that was done and I had changed into another outfit with a baby under my robe, I laid down, masked people began to dance and the players were lead through a portal to the ghosttown. I shouted my lungs out, had contractions and was having a baby while I was chained to the ground in a ghostly dreamworldtown. It took a long while before the woman at my feet (played by Ans) got the baby out and some players released me. I took the baby in my arms and the people of Dor lifted me up. They accompanied me outside the dreamworld, took me through a rift or shard or portal back to the real world: the inn in Formanterra. First we were inside. I told them my name was Meva (sp?) and I wanted to get some air. I asked them for some time alone with my baby, quickly ran around the corner of the inn. When they ran after me and saw me standing there I said "OC: I'm gone and you can't find me".
*snicker*
It was already past three I think, but I still got my guitar and we played a lot. Around six we moved to the couch. In the end it was just Willem, a woman (I don't know her name...shame on me), Dennis and me. Dennis massaged my shoulders which was blissssss. I lay next to Willem on the couch and around eight or something Dennis made us coffee. When the first players got up we were fighting fatigue and I had slept not for real, only closed my eyes for fifteen minutes.
Breakfast, then another bash outside. Ghosts and all, Salyana's evil Bod-taken over clone died in that fight, while I was protecting Attar. I didn't notice her going down until I saw her stand up again. *blush* Then I had another go at the duel with the Tempelion of Sol (this time played by Lars). I was startled to see he had brought a shield but he lay that aside to make it a more even battle and I won. Sacre Lun!
Then I bought elven ears at the stand of Anton and we were briefed for the Final Battle. The pirates had spoken of red-sailed ships around the island and the Meesters (evil evil fighters with 10 hp per location) invaded! I found a nice balanced 2-handed sword to fight with and picked up another one in the process. I must say I held my ground nicely and as the Cashel of War (need I explain what that religion stands for? Played by Brian) dropped his spear I hit him hard. We were outnumbered fast and despite the ballista who killed a man as he was hit, we soon were scattered and dying. I lost my right arm by the Blubblub Captain, and then was shot by a ballista. I fell and died. *sad eyes*
Then we cleaned the grounds, packed our bags, and said goodbye to everyone. I hugged many many people extensively. The people of Dor were so funny! IC as well as OC. The Tredanya who walked with them asked wheter that was me who had that baby. "Yes, that was me." "Oh, hemel, wat kan U schreeuwen he" (my god, you can scream...). BIGGG hugs from them even if I didn't speak with them a lot. Also from Wouter and Henning and Sjoerd, Dennis and Willem and oh...too many to keep track of.
Ruud and Moniek had offered me a ride and they dropped me off at Utrecht. There I got a train and almost fell asleep in the train home. It was weird: one moment everyone is IC, then they're the people who were IC (so you can still relate to them as being IC) and then whooops! You're in the middle of cars and a lot of people who are not wearing cloaks NOR swords! Harsh waking up and being back in the real world...
Home: showered and went to bed immediatly. I was, like a switch, off as my head hit the pillow.
Some terms I might use:

OC= Out of Character, you can't be seen by IC people and can just chill without having to roleplay
