janestarz | Talking backwards into time

After beating The Dreamwalker up, which wasn’t hard because I was quite pissed off at him (being very late and making up excuses for the fact he fought like a wet newspaper), I took the train to Rotterdam.

The train-switching to Rotterdam is very easy indeed. Somehow every time I exit at Utrecht, the train to Rotterdam as at the opposite side of the platform. Happens all the time. I was at Rotterdam Alexander at a quarter past six sharp.
Found an ATM machine and saw the student-finance was in. Then I met up with Ramón.

We hugged in the middle of the subway-tracks and got in his car. We drove back into the heart of Rotterdam. It’s been a long while since I was there, but I recognized the neighbourhood immediatly. We went to a restaurant “India Paradise” where we had had dinner on my eightteenth birthday before we went to the casino. That was two-and a half years ago, but the food was magnificent as ever. Indian (not indonesian but indian) food is good indeed.
We sat there for three hours or more, having two coffees and talking of old times. I am very bad at remembering details but somehow with him I could recall stuff very precisely. Ramón used to be my brothers’ best friend but that somehow shifted towards me. *blush* I am honored.

Around a quarter to ten he insisted on paying the bill, him being the person who will absolutely make it in this world and all. Then we drove to a poolcentre and shot some pool. Too bad I had to get the eleven o’ clock train.

We hugged tight and he pressed a kiss firmly on my cheek. It’s hard leaving to my home far away from him. Ramón and I go way back and so much has happened between us that our lives are somewhat woven together.

In the train I started reading the Celestine Prophecy again, and by the time I was in Ede I had finished it. There were much delays and some people in the train were aggravated but I kept on reading. Home at euhm…late. One o’clock I guess.
