janestarzAwake am I, aye awake indeed. Well, sort of. It was pretty late last night but it seems the I-can’t-sleep-past-nine applies all the way up north as well.

ozjish just walked out of the record shop with the special extended Lord of the Rings dvd. After ceremonial hi-how-*hug*-are-you greetings, he drove me in his ugly-ass Volkswagen *grin* to his house. I hadn’t any expectations besides black walls, black ceilings and blood-red carpet (okay, maybe black carpets too) but it was quite clean as he had warned me.
We drove into the city and walked around in Monopoly: de Groote Markt and de Heerenstraat. I saw the exterior of Vera and some market and little and large shops. We were also witness to the joyous fact that children love Sinterklaas.
When we returned to his house we watched the *extended* Lord of the Rings dvd’s. The film itself had a few new scenes, some scenes were extended and all in all I am 100% completely sure that this extended dvd is a MUST-HAVE and well worth the money (if you enjoyed the film as much as I did).
The third dvd was filled with how the props, sets and costumes were build, which we watched as well. I was extremely interested in the costumes of the elves but I didn’t get a very clear shot of them.
So now, I’m basically waiting for the Big Oz to wake up (I didn’t hear him snore so that’s good) and make me coffee! Lousy lazy minions these days *Grins wide*
