Thursdaynight I drove over to Tilburg to visit Bram and the day after Eisirt and I drove over to Tilburg again, but this time for a tabletop session of Vaesen. Claire and Erik were in good form as well, and we had a ton of fun. Bram (the GM) said this adventure is in three parts and I asked him if we were even finished with the first part yet. We don't seem to be making any progress in gathering information of why the herring baron is ruling a tiny island off the coast of Sweden and why the priest there committed suicide -- or was murdered... And why is there such an abundance of herring? More research required in our next session, probably in January.

I had tried on the jumper I was knitting beforehand: the Green Sprig. I bought the yarn earlier in January with my mother (who said it was an early birthday present) and after finishing Bram's socks I was quite motivated to get going on the Sprig. I had frogged back quite a bit when I found out I did the decreases wrong and it was high time to get the increases in but I needed to see how it fit. I was pleased and could continue full steam ahead during the tabletop session.

I also took the project along to Saturdays NPC meeting for Emphebion (after another fitting). After wrapping up Zaphira Lady Sapphire I decided to join the NPC crew for a few events. While the story-writers talked us through the story my hands can easily knit a good bit and Katinka doing the same was a great comfort. Miranda had even brought her embroidery hoop!

By the end of the meet I had finished all of the increases, which makes to total progress on the Sprig over the weekend a whole 15 centimeters knitted! Amazing!
And: time to fit it all again, to see how much more I need to knit before this is anywhere near the hem.
