Tetanus-shot

Yesterday I failed to hop the fence at the allotment and tore a hole in my legging and my leg. The wound wasn't very deep, but it did draw blood. Rinsed it out as soon as I got home and put some betadine on it, but this morning I phoned the doctor's office to ask if I needed to get a tetanus shot.

They did think it was wise and squeezed me in right away, so for the next ten years I can be as clumsy as I want with rusty nails. But I'd prefer not to wound myself again.

A nice test run for the Covid-jab in two weeks, that's for sure.
