SM14 - Qualification Round finished!

janestarzIn preparation for this round of the Sock Madness I made sure to pack my good camera, a laptop, the card reader I needed to connect one to the other, sock blockers and a measuring tape with inches.
Of course I completely forgot to set the camera to shoot RAW and JPG, so I had to download a RAW converter for the GIMP and then decided to not edit the pictures more, since the laptop had some trouble to work through the images.
But! Despite the wonky WIFI and converting RAW to JPG, I checked and double-checked the requirements for the project page. One picture showing the sides of both socks (check), one picture showing the inside of the front of both socks (check), and a clear picture of the socks on sock blockers with a ruler (check) or on adult feet (check). Because of these checks I had an answer within minutes: I am through to the next round of Sock Madness!
Despite not being able to knit in the car I still made very good time on these, with 4 days and one hour left to this round.
Now we wait for the round to finish, which team I'll be put in and then by the time we're home we're all set for the next round to kick off!
