janestarzZemy just earburned me on Ravelry (it's like tagging a person, you get a notification they're mentioning you) that I won a project bag made by Skeincharmer for my Echoes socks!
These were not my favorite pair to knit, but they were randomly picked to be a winner. I'm very curious why I won anything in the first place, but Fiberrachel said each round someone was randomly picked to receive such a prize. Guess I got lucky!
I'm not one of those people hoarding project bags, and I only have four all in all. One I made myself to test a new design, one from Fiberrachel, when she had a discount in her store to pay for a new sewing machine. Both of these are perfect for sock projects on the go.
My third and biggest project bag is the bag we all got for Christmas last year from Aunt Femmie. I'm sure the fact these bags could double as knitting bags weighed in on her decision to buy them (and the proceeds went to Alzheimer's research). It fits a sweater project, and holds my Bagtanker-in-progress.
And now I'm getting a fourth project bag!! Psyched!
