Checkbox socks finished
Apr. 24th, 2018 10:06 amThe round is over, I've not made it through, but at least I have a finished pair of socks to show for my efforts.

Thanks to a strategically placed lifeline in the first sock I could very easily frog back to the size HowlingMoon would need. The second sock was knitted to the right size right away. Her feet are a wee bit shorter than the minimum requirements for the Sock Madness.
Although I got the hang of brioche knitting, it probably won't be my favourite technique to use for socks. However, after seeing teammate Bikewi's Syncopated beauties, I am VERY interested in trying something similar with a contrast heel. Maybe one day.
The new pattern is a lacey beauty, and I've got a ton of people still looking for socks so I will probably stashdive tonight and try and keep pace for a while. Although it is tempting to finish my wonderful spring-coloured SlipStripeSpirals, knitting along with the group is fun too. No time like the present!
