One of the things on my to-do list was to finally finally finally make a necklace from beads I bought after
anemoona's hen party.
And while I was busy playing with beads, I might as well re-vamp the two sweetwater pearl bracelets Eisirt's parents had given me after graduating. The pearls were strung on elastic but they fit my wrist exactly, so they were a little uncomfortable and I didn't like to wear them.

Stringing the pearls on some tigertail wire was easy enough, but when I tried it on it was too small to fit comfortably. So I cut it all loose and started over, adding a couple of beads and some extra space. Now it's nice and close to the neck without being uncomfortable.
The green necklace was a bit of a headache. I bought the beads to replicate a lovely necklace they had in the shop, but I didn't have a picture and my memory was foggy at best. So I took to Pinterest, because designing necklaces is not my forte, to say it mildly. I finally settled on trying to make something like this beautiful necklace. Of course, my beads are all stuck in place, flanked by two crimps, and my tiger tail wire is nowhere near as neat, but the general style is the same. It was quite hard to get the tiger tail length right, and to have the three wires lie right when cramping the crimp down. But at least this thing is done, it's been on my to-do list floating at the back of my head for only three and a half years or so!
(I'm not going to mention the unakite and aventurine cubic beads I wanted to make a braided bracelet from. No siree, that's going to be my little secret. Maybe in another three years or so...)
